New Music Outlet
Matthew has taken some time off from recording and playing live shows. However, he has returned to the studio to record his fourth solo album. No release date has been given, but there is speculation that it will be released in late Spring of 2021. He has also been entertaining the thought of creating an instrumental album, be sure to tune in for updates. Matthew has a large inventory of recorded music in his archives. These include music that was created and then for some reason back burnered over the years. He plans to copyright and release the material in 2021.
MUSIC VIDEO SPARKS CONTROVERSY
Matthew’s music video release, Cheers to Nothing, from his You and Me album, has sparked
controversy and is definitely not for the squeamish. This haunting video uses strong graphic images to show some of the consequences of drug addiction. The video was produced and directed by Matthew himself, and continues to raise eyebrows.
The video was featured on the big screen in the Samantha Johnson Video Premiere/New Be Music Video Festival. The show took place at the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center in New Bedford, MA.
LIMELIGHT MAGAZINE MUSIC AWARDS
Matthew won “Best Video of the Year” in the 8th Annual Limelight Magazine Music Awards (2016). He was nominated in two categories, for “Best Video of the Year” and Breakthrough Artist of the Year” with his radio hit Today is the Day, from his album Diligence. The awards ceremony was held on April 16, 2016 at the Spire Center for Performing Arts, in Plymouth, MA.
MUSIC VIDEO – IVE BEEN SO FAR AWAY
Matthew released his music video, I’ve Been So Far Away, from his Everybody Dreams album on January 11th, 2016. The video was produced and directed by Matthew himself and is sure to become another classic. “I’ve Been So Far Away”, is one of Matthew’s biggest song hits.

Matthew released his music video, Today’s the Day, from his You and Me album on May 6th, 2015. The video was produced and directed by Cory Bertocci and features some of New England’s top actresses and models. Get ready to rock with this great new music video!

INDEPENDENT MUSIC AWARDS
Matthew was nominated in two categories in the (14th Annual Independent Music Awards (IMA) for Best Pop Song with his Internet radio hit Sunday. He was also nominated for Best Acoustic Song for his YouTube hit Butterflies. Both songs are from his album Diligence.
INTERNET RADIO
Matthew only endorses Internet radio sites that are friendly to Independent Music Artists. The best internet radio sites for Indie Artists are Spotify and Jango. Pandora has not been very friendly to Indie artists. Although Matthew’s music may be available on Pandora, we do not recommend that you use them.
DILIGENCE ALBUM
Matthew’s third album Diligence was released on September 9th, 2014 and is available as a digital download at most download sites including iTunes and Amazon. The CD is available through Amazon and Collector’s. Thanks to Disc Makers and CD Baby for all their help in the production of this album.

BUTTERFLIES MUSIC VIDEO
Matthew’s music video Butterflies, from his 3rd album, Diligence, was published on Sep 11, 2014. The video was produced and directed by Cory Bertocci and features guest star actress and model Morgan Deplitch.

CHARITIES
Matthew supports a number of local and national charities and special events. In August, 2014 he headlined The MG on the Halifax in Holly Hill Florida to support cancer research.
The sold-out event featured a music concert and fashion show with top models from around the world.
Matthew may host a live event in 2019 to promote cancer research and other charities. The event would include many top local music artists.
Matthew visited the Fellowship Health Resources (FHR), whose motto is “Healing Beautiful Minds.” The group provides critical help for people recovering from mental illness and addiction. FHR

TOURING SCHEDULE
Matthew has postponed touring in 2022 to work on his video projects. Dates and venues will be posted when tour dates for 2023 become finalized.
2013 SONG OF THE YEAR AWARD
The 2013 Song of the Year songwriting contest has awarded Matthew the “Semi-Finalist” award for his hit single ‘Days of Summer’ from his ‘You and Me’ album.
Song of the Year receives entries from all over the world and only top songwriters receive the Semi-Finalist Award for songwriting.

Matthew performed the National Anthem at Walsh Field in New Bedford, MA for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The event was held on September 25th, 2011 and featured the Annual Charity Softball Game between the National Association of Letter Carriers and International Association of Firefighters.
